Pfizer Inc.'s Groton Laboratories is accepting applications from nonprofit organizations for its 2015 competitive grants ranging up to $15,000.

Grant proposals will be considered from organizations serving communities in southeastern Connecticut, southern Rhode Island and New Haven. Programs bringing science and math to students through high school, programs that revitalize local communities and support for local civic and cultural institutions will get priority, with no grants given for fundraising dinners, charity sporting events, galas and award ceremonies.
